We are currently CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.  We will reopen for trailriding on MAY 3, 2025, weather permitting.


WE HAVE A WIDTH LIMIT OF 64" ON OUR TRAILS.  Measure the widest part of your UTV before you come.

Our trails are open 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. most weekends from May to Sept.  

If it rains a lot we may close the trails, so check our Facebook page for current postings or give us a call to make sure we're open before you come.  We close the trails if they're too muddy.

ABOUT SMURFWOOD TRAILS
Located in Northeast Missouri, Smurfwood Trails is an adventure of twisty ATV trails through timber, around fields, through mud pits and over purpose-built bridges. Our unique getaway is located on 680 acres of various terrain and offers over 20 miles of trails.  Trail riding hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. most weekends from May through September. ALL RIDERS must be off trails by 6:00 p.m.  Check calendar page for open dates.  Sorry, WE DON'T RENT ATV's -- you must bring your own.  If you have been looking for a place to ride your ATV, UTV (up to 64" wide), dirt bike, or off road motorcycle, Smurfwood Trails is the place for you!

ATV RIDERS
Bring your ATV, side by side, or dirt bike for an off highway vehicle adventure at Smurfwood ATV Trails. Our trails and bridges can be narrow and are geared for ATV's no wider than 60". We do have a few detours that can accommodate UTVs up to 64", but that is our limit.  MEASURE WIDTH BEFORE YOU COME. CAMPING
ATV riding and camping come together at Smurfwood Trails near Canton, MO. There are many camping options to stay overnight at our off road park. Bring your RV or tents or rent a cabin or grain bin hut for an outdoor adventure you won't want to miss. We have a shower house onsite to clean up for the day as well as a shelter house with picnic tables. Contact us today to reserve your spot.

EVENTS
Smurfwood Trails off road park is open weekends from May to October if we get 10 bikes per day. We usually have a Halloween ride near the end of Oct.   We host an annual Relay for Life fundraiser.  We have had bachelor parties and even a couple of weddings.
